WEBSOFT PRIVACY POLICY
This privacy policy is part of the agreement between you and Websoft Developers, Inc., a California corporation, governing the use of Websoft Hosted Solutions applications and/or the associated Website and data storage services. By downloading, using, or registering for any of the services associated with the Websoft Hosted Solutions, you agree to the Websoft Hosted Solutions Terms of Service Agreement. You further agree that you consent to the information practices disclosed in this Websoft Privacy Policy. If you do not accept these terms, you may not download, install or use the Applications or Services associated with Websoft Hosted Solutions.
Why We Collect Information
In using Websoft’s service, Websoft may collect Personal Information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personal information is or may be used: (i) to provide and improve the Service, (ii) to administer you use of the service, (iii) to better understand your needs and interests, (iv) to personalize and improve your experience, and (v) to provide or offer software updates and product announcements. If you do not wish to receive information from Websoft, please contact us directly.
How We Collect Information
Websoft reserves the right to ask you for your personal information when you sign up. Websoft can save this information for identification purposes later. This information may also be used to associate you with an organization or account at a later date.
We may collect and store information (personal or other) locally on your device, using mechanisms such as browser web storage and application data caches. When accessing webpages or services related to Websoft Hosted Solutions, Websoft may log your IP address; access URL, time of access, geographic location, browser type, referral URL, metadata, internet service provider, date and time stamps associated with accesses or transactions and device events like crashes or system activity. Websoft may associate a device identifier with your account. Websoft may collect data about your device like hardware model, operating system, browser, unique device identifiers. When using location based services or requesting your location, Websoft may use various technologies to determine location. Information such as IP address may be used in determining approximate location. When using location enabled services like GPS, Websoft may collect and process information about your actual location. When Websoft’s services are used, any of the information stated in this document may be stored in server logs.
Cookies may be used by Websoft to collect information and improve your service. “Persistent Cookies” may also be used to store information such as your user ID and login password for future logins to the Service. “Session cookies” may be used to enable certain features, to help Websoft to better understand how you use the service and help the user interact better with the service. Browsers can be instructed to not accept “cookies”, and the user should be aware that this may interfere with the use of Websoft’s services. We may use information collected by cookies and other technology, to improve your experience and overall quality of our services. When or if using an anonymous identifier, like a cookie, we will not associate with sensitive information like race, religion or health.
How We Use Information Collected
Websoft may use the information we collect to provide, maintain, protect, and improve the service, and to develop and protect all Websoft Hosted Solutions users. We may replace past names associated with you and your account so that you are appropriately represented across all devices or accounts.
Registered users may update, correct, review, or delete information associated with their user profile, in agreement with the assigned permissions. Permissions may be established by agreement between Websoft and the User. Most permissions will be managed by the User and will not involve Websoft. Websoft, with your personal permission, may access identifying data to help solve an issue or identify a User. In some cases Websoft may keep information of Users even after the service has been terminated, in which case the privacy agreement will still be applied to the retained data.
Information that is collected in any way stated in this document can be correlated with personal information unless stated otherwise in this document. Websoft will use the information gathered to increase service and provide better service, and to verify that users are authorized, along with the permissions needed to meet the users requested services. Websoft does not resell the data we collect.
Websoft’s services allow users to post information. All users should be aware that this information may be accessible or viewed by other users. Users should be aware that any personally identifiable information they choose to provide may be read, collected, or used by other users of the service. For example, an administrator of an organizational account can see a user’s name and profile. We are not responsible for the information you choose to submit. We cannot guarantee that other users have not made copies of and/or will not use such information outside of the Website. We are not responsible for information you choose to post/publish in a Websoft Hosted Solutions Service.
Security is a major concern, and Websoft uses SSL keys to transmit data. Websoft does what it can to ensure security is established, but no form of electronic transmission is one hundred percent secure, and therefore Websoft cannot provide a guarantee of one hundred percent security.
Changes to Privacy Policy
Websoft reserves the right to change this agreement at any time. If this document is changed in a way that Websoft believes reduces the rights of the user, Websoft will notify the user (via email, unless noted otherwise in the Terms of Service Agreement), and if it is deemed a significant change has been made, the user may have to re-consent to the agreement.
We will ask for your consent before using information for a purpose other than those that are set out in this Privacy Policy. In the event that Websoft or Websoft’s services changes owners, this agreement will continue in force and no new agreement will have to be made, nor may the user necessarily be notified that the agreement is continuing in force by the new party.
