We are currently recruiting for a full-time ASP.NET programmer to program and develop rich web-based Geographic Information System applications. You must have the ability to work independently, learn quickly, and possesses great problem solving abilities. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is committed to client satisfaction, and is experienced working on multiple projects with multiple deadlines. You will be a member of team focused on requirements-based code implementation and will collaborate with other programmers in the design, programming, testing and deployment of web applications. Ideal candidates have a strong knowledge of programming fundamentals and have some experience in the GIS field.

Requirements

BS in Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
Immediate authorization to work in the US
Solid understanding of Relational Databases, Object Oriented Design, and Data Structures
5+ years overall programming experience
3+ years of programming experience in the following: Cold Fusion 6.1 or higher, ASP.Net 1.1 and 2.0, JavaScript, C#, and some VB
2+ years of database experience (Oracle, SQL Server 2000 and 2005, Access, FoxPro)
Competence in server configuration including Apache, IIS.
Experience with programming web based user interfaces with complex database interaction
Ability to lead and mentor other developers
Excellent organizational/prioritization skills
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
Must be able to work independently and with other developers
Strong troubleshooting, decision making and problem solving skills
Ability to work with clients to determine application workflow, prototyping, milestones, and budget of proposed projects with a minimum of supervision
Knowledge of MapGuide/ArcIMS APIs a plus

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Web Designer to design, program and develop client websites, as well as maintain and update existing websites. You will create, and modify HTML, XML, DHTML, Javascript, logos, web animations, and graphics elements for website use; You will also design and assure functionality of links, online forms, surveys and scripts; design and implement a variety of website features and applications. You must have an eye for design and layout. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is committed to customer satisfaction, and experienced working on multiple projects with multiple deadlines.

Requirements

Minimum high school degree
Able to multi-task / Organized with good communication skills
Good knowledge of website design and basic design principles
Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, Photoshop
Some knowledge of Access/SQL
Some working knowledge of Flash and ColdFusion is preferred
Print media experience a plus

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain and provide ongoing design of existing and new website projects and other projects in conjunction with marketing campaigns and initiatives
Utilize knowledge of current graphic design software to produce graphic art and visual materials for web content
Must possess ability to take designs through the stages of concept, execution, and published format in relatively short timeframes
Work with clients to determine design style, organizational elements, and budget of proposed websites with a minimum of supervision
